2-Year Limited Warranty
(1-yr. on truck manual and commercial applications)
GEAR VENDORS, Inc. guaranties our overdrive system for two years (one
year on systems working in conjunction with truck manual transmissions or in commercial applications)
from the date of purchase. Our guarantee covers defects in material and workmanship and is limited
to the components that we supply. We disclaim responsibility in the event of improper installation,
abuse, or modification to our product. Prior to having any work performed, which you believe to be
covered by this warranty, call GEAR VENDORS, Inc. for authorization. All warranty claims must
be pre-approved by GEAR VENDORS, proof of original purchase and/or the warranty registration
card must have completed and received at GEAR VENDORS within 30 days of purchase.
NOTE: This warranty does not cover installation labor charges (removal
and replacement) of any kind. GEAR VENDORS liability for defective products covered by this
warranty is limited to replacement of our products. In the event of product failure, the damaged
unit or component must be returned to GEAR VENDORS, Inc. transportation prepaid, or most
commonly, with proper arrangement for core charges, a replacement unit/component will be sent to
you or the dealer and the defective unit will be returned after replacement. Please write or call
GEAR VENDORS for a Return Authorization number. (A return must have a Return Authorization
number before the factory can accept it.) When the above conditions have been met, GEAR VENDORS
will repair or replace the defective component at GEAR VENDORS option without cost to the
consumer for parts, labor or handling.
In no event does GEAR VENDORS liability under this limited warranty
include consequential or incidental damages, such as food, lodging or the cost of repairing or
replacing other parts damaged due to the failure of GEAR VENDORS part to function properly,
towing charges or transportation costs. All implied warranties, including implied warranties of
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this written
warranty.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, and some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty
lasts, so the above exclusion or limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state.
Money-Back Warranty
Additionally, GEAR VENDORS provides a 30 day money back guarantee on
the purchase price excluding installation charges. If for any reason within 30 days after your
original purchase of the GEAR VENDORS UNDER/OVERDRIVE™ you wish to have it returned and
refunded contact you're installing dealer or GEAR VENDORS, Inc. at 1-800-999-9555.
